We’ve all been there: you’re keen to snag the perfect tickets to see your favourite artist, theatre show, or footy team. We get it, it’s exciting, but it can also be a bit stressful! That is exactly why we rolled out the Waiting Room and Smart Queue.
Getting tickets into the hands of real fans is our top priority. That’s why you might encounter an INTIX queue; it allows you to buy tickets securely while keeping bots at bay. Think of the queue as a virtual line that protects you and your purchase in the most effective way possible.
Before the next ticket drop, here is a rundown of how it all works.
How the INTIX Queue Works

Open the Event Page: Head to the event page for the tickets you want to buy.

Join the Waiting Room: Be sure to jump into the Waiting Room before the ticket sale kicks off. Waiting Rooms typically open 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

The Queue Opens: When the sale officially begins, the queue will open, and you will be assigned a spot in the line.

Select Your Tickets: Once it’s your turn to shop, use the map to pick your specific seats (or select General Admission tickets) and proceed to checkout. Please note that tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed until purchased.
Top Tip: Your page will refresh automatically when you enter the queue, so do not refresh the screen yourself. If you run into an error, follow the on-screen prompts to resolve it, or try signing out and signing back in. Don’t worry, your place in the queue will stay safe.
Tips for a Smoother Experience
To make sure you’re sorted for the big sale, we recommend the following:

Log In Early: Sign in to your account for the organisation selling the tickets to join the Waiting Room and double-check your account details.

Check Your Payment Info: Confirm you have a valid payment method saved to your account, along with up-to-date email and billing information. This makes checkout a breeze.

No Need to Rush: The exact time you join the Waiting Room does not determine your final spot in the Smart Queue. As long as you enter the Waiting Room before the on-sale time, you are all set. Anyone who doesn't join the Waiting Room beforehand will join the back of the line.

Stay Put: While you are in the Smart Queue, your spot is automatically and frequently refreshed. Please do not refresh, close, or leave the page. When it is your turn, your spot is held for 10 minutes to allow you to start shopping.
