The 2026 HerWay Luncheon Supported by NewLife IVF, marks the renewal of Football Victoria’s FootballHerWay Strategy, bringing together women in football, club champions and industry professionals to explore the progress made and the work still ahead.

About The Event

The day will feature an address from Football Victoria Executive Manager - Equity, Growth & Government Relations: Karen Pearce OAM. Considering Football Victoria’s goal of 50/50 gender equity by 2027, while looking at the diverse experiences, needs and pathways of women across the football community.

A subsequent panel will also explore women’s health, wellbeing and physical autonomy, including how understanding and being informed about women's bodies can influence participation and athletic performance. With perspectives from health and performance specialists, the discussion will recognise the diversity of women and the different experiences that shape their involvement in football.
