About FICTION CLUB

Set inside a beautifully reimagined former cinema at 50 Bunda Street in the heart of the CBD, Fiction has firmly established itself as Canberra's premier nightclub and one of the capital's most dynamic entertainment venues. Spread across two immersive levels and anchored by a striking 360° DJ booth that places the artist at the very centre of the action, the venue blends premium sound, the elevated Fact Bar mezzanine, and a calibre of production rarely seen outside the country's major cities. More than seven years into its run as the biggest club in Canberra, Fiction has evolved into a true cultural hub — a space designed not only for weekend club nights but for concerts, live showcases, exhibitions, theatre, and art.

The energy on the floor is matched by a programme that consistently pulls some of the biggest names in electronic and dance music. Fiction has hosted standout headline performances from internationally renowned trance icon MaRLo through its LIVE AT 50 concert series, alongside drum and bass heavyweights Cardination and DNA, and rising talents such as V3NMON and Jade Le Flay headlining its flagship Suga Saturdays. With doors open every Friday and Saturday, a full functions offering catering to private events, corporate launches and live concerts, and VIP booth experiences that elevate any occasion, Fiction continues to shape nightlife and live entertainment culture in the capital — a venue worth supporting for anyone who believes Canberra deserves a stage as bold as its audiences.
