Marie Little Shield

Introduced in 2013, the Marie Little Shield competition was named after Marie Little OAM, a netballer who dedicated her life to those with an intellectual disability.

Since 2013, the Marie Little Shield has provided the chance for female athletes with an intellectual disability to compete at the national level each year in three days of competition. 

This year’s competition will be contested at Thornbury’s Narrandjeri Stadium from 4–6 September, in partnership with Visit Victoria.
